It’s been forever since I’ve posted, mostly because because I haven’t had a lot to say in a public sphere. Passover was nice. Morgan and I had a seder for ourselves the first nigh and hosted one over Zoom the second. Then I spent chol hamoed completing a shelving project and installing some lighting and tile in the basement bathroom. So, a very nice staycation. Coronavirus has meant that I am once again working from home. I generally seem more productive when I am because there are fewer distractions than in the office. It is nice having a house with a somewhat pleasant basement; it has been my third place through all this. Any news from others?

It was my first seder in a rainforest -- Zoom background, that is. My folks were amused when I would disappear down a woodland path to do food preparations.

Happy Birthday, RICHARDF8!

We're well. Shoshana has been working from home for the past 10 weeks, which is sort of a preview of what her retirement will be like in seven months; fortunately we like each other's company. We only leave the house to shop for groceries and to walk for exercise. We see Shul members on Zoom. We mostly communicate with relatives by phone, though we did have a Zoom seder first night with my parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews.

I haven't posted here in a while, though I am more active on Twitter and FB.

Yep. Lots of Zoom stuff happening with our shuls as well. Morgan starts a new job on Wednesday iy”h, and I too have been working from home; it is SO not like retirement. We were in Israel when news first started coming out of Wuhan that a thing was happening, and we got home just before the quarantines began. It was a little scary when the TSA was making sure that my Holy Cacao chocolate would not explode, because they were also making sure that the confections of a family returning from China would not explode. But we seem to be safe now. Life in Minneapolis/Saint Paul was interesting for a bit, but is getting more stable as protests are becoming better organized and focused.
